Welcome
Greetings, I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience supporting teenagers and adults through healing, growth, and meaningful change. I began my clinical work in 2019 after earning my Master of Social Work from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. I am currently licensed in both Virginia and West Virginia and can provide both in-person (West Virginia office location) and telehealth services.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in inpatient treatment settings with at-risk adolescents, which deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of safety and connection in the healing process. Since 2019, I have continued working with teens and adults in outpatient therapy, helping clients navigate trauma, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions.
I specialize in treating trauma and trauma-related disorders, using an integrative, evidence-based approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and trauma-informed care. My work is collaborative and individualized, honoring each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and pace.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and move toward greater clarity, stability, and self-compassion.
I evaluate each client's individual needs to determine appropriate treatment necessary to obtain optimum progress. I strive to provide the least restrictive professional methods utilized in a client's personal treatment, and do not use unnecessary or excessive methods under any circumstances.
